Building/Facilities Manager – New York

FACILITIES MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for acting as direct supervisor for all repair and maintenance of the entire unit, including preventive maintenance and equipment repair. This position requires knowledge of restaurant and gaming equipment. Responsible to maintain Disney quality and ethical standards set by The Walt Disney Company.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports To: Assistant General Manager, Operations
Indirectly Reports To: Facilities Manager FSC
Direct Reports: Facilities hourly staff, if applicable

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure that equipment is in proper working condition
· Repair all equipment promptly, including basic and advanced mechanical work on specialized restaurant and game equipment
· Troubleshoots and performs preventive maintenance
· Performs some basic carpentry work
· Ensures compliance of equipment and maintenance work with all applicable safety and regulatory codes
· Ensures Zone Art displays are secure and in proper condition
· Participates in regular walk-throughs with Assistant General Manager, Operations
· Communicates in a timely and open manner with Assistant General Manager, Operations regarding pending repairs, etc.
· Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports
· Work closely with DRE Facilities regarding maintenance updates, issues and concerns
· Required to work within specified budget
· Maintain sanitation and safety standards
· Review and keep current all service contracts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Three years proven track record in maintenance management
· Full working knowledge of HVAC, kitchen equipment and attractions
· General understanding of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
· Ability to utilize maintenance logs, service schedules and preventive maintenance schedules
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Basic computer skills
