♬♬ Christian Classical Choir Conductor Needed

Jubilee Missions is currently looking for a Music Director (Team Leader) of our classical choir with both Christian leadership and experience in conducting a choir. This is an opportunity for you to use your gifting for God’s glory!

We at Jubilee Missions believe that God’s gifting to each one of us should be used for His Kingdom and His Righteousness. When done so, we can each be part of God’s work in redeeming the arts. Particularly here in new york City, the entertainment capital of the world, we challenge people in this city to radically change our arts culture for God by being a part of this mission in Jubilee Missions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Part-time ministry position to lead a classical choir of 15 people.
-Planning, preparation and directing of rehearsals and events.
-Create an atmosphere of community and support at each rehearsal and event.
-In all rehearsals, include prayer, fellowship, and scripture.
-Submit, cooperate, and support the leadership of Jubilee Missions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Christian in life, speech, and action.
-Committed to living for the Lord, by knowing and following the Word of God.
-Desire to see excellence in the arts for Christ.
-Have experience in Christian leadership and artistic leadership.

TIME COMMITMENT:
-From September 2009 to August 2010
-Rehearsals once a week
