| The Paul Taylor Dance Foundation seeks highly motivated undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in the arts. Development interns will work on a variety of projects in Fundraising and Special Events in support of the activities of the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Projects include: • researching potential funding sources • assisting with grant proposals and reports • drafting and sending solicitations for individual giving campaigns • organizing and producing various aspects of the Foundation’s special events • assisting with database maintenance • some administrative duties A creative, organized, and detail-oriented thinker will get the most out of this position. The position is unpaid, but interns will have opportunities to see performances by the Paul Taylor Dance Company and Taylor 2 as well as take class at the Taylor School if desired. Scheduling is flexible within business hours, 15-20 hours per week. Positions are available for summer and fall 2008. Ad provided by Idealist.org |
