POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute ad sales and marketing partnership opportunities through interaction with Digital Media Editorial, Digital Media Marketing, Ad Sales Marketing and Ad Sales Operations.
• Manage the Digital Media component in the development of new ad opportunities and custom client packages in collaboration with the Digital Integrated Sales & Marketing team.
• Manages the evaluation of potential custom elements, ensuring that all custom elements have proper lead time, etc. Maintains list of all upcoming/approved/sold custom elements from ad sales.
• Oversee the development and execution of custom ad marketing elements for ad sales clients, house ads and channel marketing partnerships. Develop visuals and mock-ups requested by Ad Sales Marketing.
• Responsible for the creation of the weekly Ad Marketing calendar for all brands. The calendar includes details on new & upcoming content, layouts, ad units, timing, long form schedule, marketing levels and any exceptions.
• Interface with Digital Media editorial teams to identify appropriate digital editorial ideas for convergent ad packages and Upfront planning (online, mobile, and new media platforms).
• Develop and maintain the consumer experience guidelines document. First point of contact for guideline questions from ad sales (sales, marketing and operations), and resolution of issues and exceptions with the brand groups. Responsible for the ongoing evolution and publication of the guidelines and the education and enforcement of the guidelines across Digital Media and Ad Sales.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5+ years experience in ad sales marketing and/or promotions marketing preferably in a digital environment.
• Solid knowledge of ad sales, digital editorial and marketing activities.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across internal functional departments
• Strong analytical /strategic thinker and creative problem solver
• Strong presentation and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal capabilities and strong consensus building skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint are necessary
• Ability to effectively prioritize key activities
