Position: Flash Developer

Unknown Vector is looking for a Flash Developer (4+ years) who is passionate about engineering beautiful, efficient and effective user experiences for web and software applications across different devices. This Flash Developer will report to Engineering and Creative leads.
Responsibilities:
• Familiarize yourself with and extend large, production Actionscript 3 codebase
• Develop rapid prototypes in Flash in collaboration with Design and Technology groups
• Inform and educate client teams on the capabilities and constraints of Flash development
• Work with and manage other Flash Developers as appropriate
• Facilitate internal brainstorms and client team meetings as needed
Requirements:
• Experience in designing and refactoring large, object-oriented codebases
• Working knowledge of Actionscript 3
• Passion for clear, reusable code
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, using version control, issue tracking etc
• Experience integrating flash with server technologies, interacting with REST API's
• Working understanding of mathematics as it applies to computer graphics (vectors, matrix, etc)
• Familiarity with performance and size optimization in Flash
• Experience in XML, JavaScript, XHTML, and CSS
• Demonstrates flexibility and openness to incorporate input from all levels within an organization
• Relevant experience in the Information, Media and Entertainment industries a plus
• Design skills a plus, but not necessary
