Position: Graphic Designer/ Actionscript Developer
Blogform Group is an international company that develops rich media solutions for clients from all over the world. It is based in Oslo, Norway and is currently building a US office to accommodate rapid growth. Blogform develops develop digital magazines in-house and licenses the use of its digital magazine platform.
We are seeking an experienced graphic designer/ Actionscript developer for a full-time position in New York.
Function and responsibilities:
• Produce Flash content for our many exciting and quality minded clients
• Communicate with clients to provide design and technical feedback/advising
• Self-manage tasks and time
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent
• Language: English (a second language is an advantage)
Minimum requirements:
• Firm knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Quark)
• Strong graphic and user interface design abilities
• Strong sense of cutting edge design
• An understanding of object oriented programming
• Familiarity with speed and size optimization in Flash
• Preference will be given to applicants with experience programming in ActionScript AS 2.0/3.0.
