Director of Marketing
General Description:
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for all marketing communication, customer acquisition, promotion strategies, product marketing and partner marketing efforts. This opportunity is for someone who has a passion for new media and the changing web landscape and who blends that enthusiasm with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Director of Marketing will report to the SVP, Marketing.
Responsibilities:
What you will do:
* Lead the development and execution of marketing programs that position the company and drive its perception in a fast-changing market
* Develop collateral materials including white papers, case studies, product profiles, and other materials based on our innovations and customer successes to sustain a successful sales process.
* Will be responsible for key reports and communications of activities within the Ripple6 network of communities
* Develop reporting solutions geared to provide business insight. This may include static reports, ad hoc analysis, and ongoing perspective
* Analyze competitive landscape; maintain competitive analysis documents and keep management and sales team apprised of all key developments.
* Contribute to the development, collection, analysis, and publishing of site performance metrics
* Administer Google Analytics product; manage profiles, dash board, campaigns, reports, standard and custom code, issue management, and training
Qualifications:
Skills and experience you will need:
* Strategic thinker, process oriented and strong execution skills
* Self-starter, with can do attitude, able to work well under pressure
* Experience in an online marketing/advertising/media role, with a clear understanding of performance based metrics and analysis
* Experience in developing corporate collateral materials
* Ability to clearly distill complex data into simple, relevant meaning for clients
* Understanding of website traffic metrics and proficiency with web analytic reporting platforms (e.g. Google, Omniture, Webtrends, etc.)
