Online Business Reporter

Description:
SAI is seeking an online business reporter. Like writing two or three 800-word business stories a week? Then work for a dying newspaper. If you like the intensity of real-time business reporting and analysis, however, this job is for you.
Responsibilities:
* Story development and research
* Track trends and report on issues impacting business
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with key sources
* Draft, edit and put stories to press
Qualifications:
* 4-6 years relevant work experience
* Ability to work with little supervision
* Ability to identify and report on stories affecting business community
* Must have strong writing skills
* Must submit portfolio of recent work samples
* Solid understanding of trends/directions in digital media
* Bachelors degree required
* Professional blogging and business expertise experience a plus
