The ATTAIN Interactive Learning Lab provides free job training and academic preparation program to NY residents. By volunteering to teach our students, you will be helping us to change lives and providing much needed career skills to low-income/disadvantaged individuals.


Description: Legal Assistant Instructor
We need a team of professionals in the Legal or related fields (Lawyers, Paralegals, Contract Managers, Accountants, etc.) to teach a free Legal Assistant course to adult learners in Harlem, NY. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to certify through the National Association for Legal Secretaries (nals.org) and obtain gainful employment. The program will be 50/50 web-based and classroom instruction and completed over an 8-week period. This course can be taught conveniently from your home or office through our online learning portal.

No online or classroom teaching experience required. Basic training on how to use our learning system and all teaching materials will be provided.

At the end of the course, to show our appreciation we will reward you with excellent work references, certificates of appreciation and a gift card.

We require that you:
• be a professional in the legal/law field,
• reside in the NYC area,
• have good computer skills and own a PC with internet access, and
• be available to for 1-2 hours per week for on-campus instruction
