Novantas, a New York based management consulting & software services company, is seeking candidates with 2-3 years of Oracle experience for the position of Oracle Developer/Administrator. If you are extremely smart, analytical, good with people, motivated, technology savvy and a team player, a young dynamic financial services firm located in Manhattan would like to hear from you. The Database Developer & Administrator position involves participation in the design and development of future application releases, developing enhancements for current versions, and maintenance of existing functionality. Candidates should possess a willingness to take ownership of projects and collaborate with clients and business teams on feature requests and issue resolution. Successful candidates will possess the following education, experience & skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2-3 years experience in database development including PL/SQL, stored procedures, OLAP tools and Shell scripts
- Previous experience in a high availability environment
- Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
- Please note that you will be considered for this position only if you have proven working experience with Oracle
- Experience with RAC/10G database cluster
- Experience with Websphere application servers and Java
- Experience with Data Warehousing technologies, methodologies and design
- Experience with BI platforms
