Position: P/T Bookeeper
Excellent opportunity for an organized, articulate, energetic person, who takes initiative, has a sense of urgency, and functions well in a multi-tasking position. This positive, diligent , computer literate bookkeeper to work for designer retail brand.
NoLita, New York City based retail store in search of a part time, in-house Controller/Bookkeeper. Expanding into wholesale and addition licensing in handbags and shoes, it is pertinent to Emmett McCarthy EMc2 company that the applicant posses the ability to analytically approach all objectives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Account Receivable/ Payable
- Reconciliation -Credit Card Processing
- Payroll
- Preparation of financial statements for internal and external review
- Control of tax payments: Corporate and per-project basis
- Project Monthly retail Sales goals.
- Help transform start up into a solvent and successful business
Applicants should:
- Have a minimum of 5 years retail experience
- Posses extensive knowledge of Quickbooks, Quickbooks P OS and Excel
- Be able to take on various projects as well as manage daily responsibilities
- Be willing to put in more hours when necessary
- Be able to problem solve with minimal guidance
- flexible 8 hrs / 2 days (Mon - Fri)
