Position: Producer, LOGO Short-Form Original Programming
Logo seeks a motivated and enthusiastic producer to work in its fast-paced digital production environment, producing innovative digital media products that complement LOGO's unique constellation of on-air, online, and new media properties. This job is focused primarily on the development, production, and post-production of short-form content for online and mobile. phones.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Work closely with the rest of the short-form group, and with other departments within the channel to create exciting on-line and mobile content.
• Maintain familiarity with all LOGO programs and online initiatives to keep multiplatform products current and interesting.
• Brainstorm innovative editorial ideas for content and ways to present LOGO's distinctive brand messaging and programming within a range of multiplatform content.
• Responsible for leading and overseeing the full life cycle of projects. This includes: brainstorming, working with production management on budgeting, field producing, shooting, post-production, and project completion and delivery.
• Work with the online team to come up with innovative ways to showcase LOGO's programming and initiatives.
• Have a willingness to produce quick turnaround content for online and mobile, which would involve on-the-fly shooting, and same-day editing and submission.
• Have excitement about creating innovative work within the constraints of very small budgets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 4-6 years' related experience and/or training in television; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong editorial background in Final Cut Pro.
• Knowledge of proper business practices for content creation.
• Experience in creating content geared specifically for mobile/wireless is strongly desired.
• Proven track-record of multi-tasking and overseeing numerous projects of various sizes, hitting deadlines
• Proven attention to detail in a faced-paced, detailed-oriented digital environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated Knowledge of LOGO brand.
