Job DetailThis position will lead the GTS Testing Competency Centers (TCC) Metrics Workstream. The TCC is a newly formed group to provide governance and direction to global operation, business and technology testing teams assisting them in collectively becoming a world class end to end testing organization. The TCC will be responsible for:Initial development of testing standards for all testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT, Performance, Production Validation, etc.) and testing profiles (Enhancements, Major Releases, etc.)Creation of controls and processes for migrating solutions from Unit testing through to Production ValidationGovernance, compliance monitoring, and reporting of the defined controls, processes, and standards across testing teams implementing solutions on over 2,000 regional and global applications Assisting testing teams with planning for implementation of TCC defined test process and standards Continuous process improvements to all testing phases and profilesThe Testing Metrics Leads responsibilities will include the following: Develop strong relationships with Technology, Operations and other units supporting application testingDefine a standard set of test execution and monitoring metrics to be generated by Technology and Operations units globallyReview test metrics generated by Technology and Operations units and deliver feedback for refinement as necessary Develop end-to-end processes for collecting, monitoring and reporting testing metrics Coordinate and communicate with Technology and Operations testing teams to collect metrics for all test phases in a timely basisFacilitate tracking and analysis of metrics received to monitor effectiveness and quality of test execution and evaluate compliance against testing standards and controlsSupervise generation of executive dashboards and management reports as necessaryManage testing metrics framework with a goal of driving testing related improvementsAssist in mentoring and training team members to deliver quality work products on timeWork closely with the TCC Lead to identify and drive issues and risks to resolution, as early and quickly as possible
Experience Required:The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience7+ years experience in technology development and testing, and in leading small to medium sized teams in global financial services organizationsSignificant metrics analysis and reporting experienceStrong analytical, oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressureGreat attention to detail - a count everything mentality. Demonstrated ability to turn numbers into meaningful management indicatorsSignificant prior experience interacting with and presenting to senior executives in a global organization
