Position: Senior Consultant, Experience Design

Overall Accountability and Job Summary

The Experience Design Consultant demonstrates competence in one or more of our desired areas of technical expertise:

Usability and user experience
Information architecture
Taxonomy creation
Human factors
The Experience Design Consultant is both hands on and capable of leading 2-3 experience design professionals on projects of up to $500,000. During a project, an experience design consultant will manage the budget and insure on-specification and on – time delivery of user experience solution. They plan and define experience design process and deliverable strategy for medium to large projects, as well as serve as the client facing experience design lead on these projects. The Experience Design Consultant is experienced with the development and delivery of business requirements, audience and competitive analysis, content inventories, taxonomies, creative briefs, information architecture strategies and other client documentation. They contribute to the development of a detailed project plan including performance objectives. They work independently, serving as a discipline lead on mid-size projects(s) and oversee work plan execution.

Consulting / Client Leadership:

Extremely competent in external consulting skills and techniques
Ability to develop strong client relationships and work with senior client contacts
Strong facilitation, interviewing skills
Understands business problems and works with the client to apply our solutions
Independently follows Molecular Model and adapt the model across disciplines as needed
Demonstrates deep knowledge of Molecular's history of solutions and case studies and the ability to communicate the value of these solutions to existing and prospective clients
Provides constructive feedback to project team members
