Position: Senior Experience Design Specialist

Overall Accountability and Job Summary

The Experience Design, Senior Professional leads a sub area of the design and execution for one or more of the following user experience capabilities:

Visual design and branding
Usability and information architecture
HTML production, multimedia, scripting technologies (Flash/AJAX) and Content conversion
Taxonomy creation and information design
They must accurately generate cost and schedule estimates for the design and execution of a core user experience capability. They supports the development and delivery of business requirements, audience and competitive analysis, content inventories, taxonomies, creative briefs, information architecture strategies and other client documentation. They also often serve as discipline lead on smaller projects, allocating and tracking tasks while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.

Consulting / Client Leadership:

Competent in external consulting skills and techniques
Serving as a trusted subject matter expert to clients and high level of client contact
Ability to develop and sustain strong client relationships and the mid-senior levels
Understands client(s) unique style and adapts own style to that of client
Works independently in achieving project/ client objectives with little oversight
Follows Molecular Model, adapting model to specific client needs with direction from others
Identifies root causes of barriers and problems, provides alternative solutions to appropriate colleagues, and implements solution(s)
