| Make a Difference, Be a Mentor! Youth at Risk is recruiting mentors for our Warriors Way Program. The Warriors Way Program is a program designed to prevent incarceration and young parenthood for males and females ages 11-15, living in single-parent households. The program aims to keep these young people out of the criminal justice system and to empower participants to stay in school and handle aggression through verbal communication. It also teaches the participants to be responsible young people in their communities. Please contact Gail Thompson - Director of Volunteers at gail@nyyouthatrisk.org or call 212-791-4927 ext. 22 for additional information. Ad provided by Idealist.org |
